Swine flu helpline got 104,000 calls this year

Up to 104,000 calls have been made to the HSE's Swine Flu information line since it was set up in May.

The highest number of calls were received during the week of November 2 when the vaccination campaign began.

There was also increased activity during July and August ahead of schools re-opening.

Currently, around 7,000 calls are made to the line every week.
