Man appears in Wicklow court on murder charge

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of 26-year-old Stephen O'Meara.

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of 26-year-old Stephen O'Meara.

The body of the father-of-three was found in a shallow grave at Ballydonnell in Redcross in the county on Thursday.

He had been missing since August 6 last.

Twenty-four-year-old Michael Dickinson, with an address in Wicklow Town, was remanded in custody to Cloverhill prison.

He will appear again in Bray District Court on January 4.
