Public urged to recycle Christmas waste

An estimated 75,000 tonnes of packaging will be generated over the Christmas season.

We will get through 20 million wine bottles, 13 million bottles of beer, 35 million cans of soft drinks and manage to use four million rolls of wrapping paper.
