Ryanair jet slides from Prestwick runway

A Ryanair jet slid from the runway at Prestwick airport in Scotland this morning after hitting a patch of ice.

A Ryanair jet slid from the runway at Prestwick airport in Scotland this morning after hitting a patch of ice.

It happened as the plane was landing at around 9am this morning.

No one on board was hurt and passengers have been bussed back to the main terminal building.

The main runway has now been closed.
