Officers from Revenue's Customs Service at Dublin Airport have seized drugs with a street value of €220,000.

They were discovered when officers intercepted a French woman who had arrived from Senegal in West Africa this afternoon.

Officers found the 3 kilogrammes of drugs concealed in a false-bottomed bag.

The woman was arrested and is due to appear in court tomorrow morning.
