Thirty-eight organisations including Barnardos, Amnesty, and the Vincent de Paul have come together to seek urgent reform of the mental health system for children.

The newly formed Children's Mental Health Coalition will today launch its manifesto and a website to demand action from government.

They say that vulnerable children face unacceptable waiting lists for services, and responses that fail to meet their basic needs.
