Sligo man pleads guilty to €3.45m heroin possession

A Sligo man has pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to possession of €3.45m worth of heroin.

A Sligo man has pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to possession of €3.45m worth of heroin.

John Paul Cawley (aged 30) of Doocastle, Ballymoate pleaded guilty to possession of the drugs at Boomer's Carpark, Woodford Walk, Clondalkin in Dublin on January 23, 2009.

Judge Katherine Delahunt remanded Cawley in custody until sentencing next April.
