Garda sergeant injured in Dublin shooting

A Garda sergeant was recovering from minor injuries today after coming under fire during a routine call-out.

The officer was speaking with a homeowner about damage to their house in Clondalkin, west Dublin, when a shot was fired into the hallway where he was standing with two colleagues.
