Post mortem to take place on Grand Canal body
A post mortem examination will be carried out today on a body which was recovered from the Grand Canal in Dublin at lunchtime yesterday.
It is believed to be that of Cork man Damian O'Brien who went missing in Dublin two weeks ago today.
The 37-year-old from Clonakilty was last seen near Baggot Street bridge on November 27.
The body was found in part of the canal at Lower Baggot Street yesterday.
The body has however not yet been formally identified.
