Carers 'outraged and bitterly disappointed' by Budget

Family carers are "outraged and bitterly disappointed" at the 4.1% cut to social welfare payments to all carers announced in today's Budget.

The budgetary measure equates to a reduction of €8.80 per week, or €470 per annum, for carers in receipt of the carers allowance.
