SIPTU president doesn't want to see strike action

The President of SIPTU has said he does not want to see people take to the streets in protest over public sector pay cuts.

Jack O'Connor was speaking following the collapse in negotiations between unions and Government after agreement could'nt be reached on how to cut €1.3bn from the public sector pay bill.
