Bishop of Limerick asks people to 'pray for him'
The Bishop of Limerick has today asked his parishioners to pray for him as he considers his position.
A letter from Dr Donal Murray was read out at all masses in the diocese of Limerick today.
The Bishop is under huge pressure to step down after Cardinal Seán Brady said he believed he would "do the right thing".
Cardinal Brady and the Archbishop of Dublin Diarmuid Martin will travel to Rome this week for a meeting with the Pope on the findings of the Murphy report which detailed abuse and the cover-up of abuse in the Dublin Archdiocese.
