Insurer: Cost of flooding will exceed €250m

The country's largest insurer estimates that the insurance cost of flooding damage to homes and businesses may exceed €250m.

This figure comes to light as floodwaters in some parts of the country recede and the insurance officials begin to file their claim reports.
