Linen plant loses 103 jobs in Galway
One hundred and three jobs have been lost in Galway city.
The Linen Supply of Ireland's plant in the city has been placed in examinership.
The plant is involved in the washing of linen for the hotel and restaurant industry.
The company said the sector has been badly hit by the recession.
But LSI have confirmed 23 jobs will be saved with the opening of a service and logistics office in the city over the coming months.
