Police question five over attempt to kill PSNI officer

One man is still in Garda custody in Co Leitrim after a shootout between dissident republicans and police in the North on Saturday night.

The 27-year-old was arrested in Rossinver yesterday afternoon.

Another four men, aged in their twenties and early thirties, are being questioned by the PSNI.

It is understood the attack in the village of Garrison in County Fermanagh was an attempt to kill a local police officer.
