SIPTU defer strikes in Clare and Galway

More than 1,200 SIPTU members in Clare and Galway have decided to defer their strike action on Tuesday next in order to focus on the flooding clean-up operation.

Stirke action in the two counties against further Government cuts in pay, conditions and services will now take place at a later date.
