Gardaí examine crude 'pipe bomb'

Gardaí are examining what is believed to be a crude pipe bomb at a house in Limerick.

A container with petrol and what are believed to be wires was found in the back garden of a house at Fairview Crescent in Garryowen at around 8am today.

It is believed the device may have been stored for future use.
