Busy night expected for emergency services

It's the busiest night of the year for the emergency services with Halloween celebrations taking place across the country.

Ambulance and fire services can expect three-times the normal number of call-outs tonight due to firework accidents and the abuse of alcohol.

The HSE's Dr. Joe Devlin says most of the injuries sustained tonight will be down to the lack of adult supervision and drunkenness.
