People flock to Knock after vision prediction

Thousands of people are expected to gather in Knock today in expectation of an appearance of the Virgin Mary.

Joe Coleman, a clairvoyant from Dublin, claims the apparition will take place at three this afternoon.

The Archbishop of Tuam, Dr Michael Neary, has discouraged the event saying it risks undermining faith.

Mr Coleman insists those who turn out, will not be let down.
