A Limerick man was jailed for seven years by the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today for the possession of explosives in Co Tipperary last February.

Kenneth O' Reilly (aged 29), of Killmurray Court, Garryowen, Co Limerick pleaded guilty last July to the unlawful possession of an explosive substance - one kilogram of black powder - at Limerick Road, Roscrea, Co Tipperary on February 28 last.
