Gardaí appeal for witnesses after Dublin shooting
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the murder of a young man in Dublin last night.
Jason Egan, 23, was shot at least four times as he was locking up his family run shop in the Parlickstown area of Mulhuddart.
The state pathologist is conducting a post mortem of the dead man's remains at Connolly hospital.
Gardaí are investigating the possibility that two burnt-out cars - a black Toyota Land cruiser and a red Volkswagen Golf - which were found in the hours following the murder may have been used in the getaway.
Superintendent John Gilligan said gardaí are looking for help in building up a description of the gunman.
