Lenihan: Confidence returning to Irish economy
Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan says confidence is returning to the Irish economy.
Lenihan says the creation of Nama has sent out positive signals to overseas investors and the benefits are becoming obvious.
He made his comments at a function hosted by the Leinster Society of Chartered Accountants in Dublin.
He said the recent creation of the Asset Resolution Corporation, aimed at taking over debt from foreign-owned lenders, is a positive move.
Lenihan says the outlook for the economy is positive despite the difficult challenges we face.
