Two held after raid on cannabis-growing operation

Gardaí in Co Meath have arrested two people following a raid on a cannabis-growing operation yesterday evening.

The cannabis was being grown at a house in Laytown.

Gardai say €52,000 worth of cannabis was seized from the house along with growing equipment.

A man and a woman in their early 30s were arrested at the premises and are being held at Kells and Laytown garda stations.
