Appeal for information following bank worker’s kidnapping

Gardaí investigating the kidnapping of a bank worker in Dublin last month are today appealing to two women to come forward with information.

The woman and her husband were abducted from their house by a gang at the Dun Emer estate in Lusk on September 11.

The woman was brought to the Bank of Ireland branch in Coolock village and forced to withdraw a sum of cash.

No one was injured in the incident.

Gardaí wish to speak to a woman who was wearing a white zip-up top and walking her dog at St McCullan's Cross in Lusk that morning.

They are also appealing to a woman with black hair, wearing a zip-up top who was walking her dog there and who may have noticed two people sitting in a gold-coloured Mercedes to contact them.
