Gardaí investigating the shooting of a young man in Tallaght in Dublin a year ago have renewed their appeal for information.

The shooting happened in Russell Rise at 6.30am on the morning of Wednesday, October 22, last year.

The injured man is still critically ill at Tallaght Hospital.

Gardaí say they want to speak to anyone who has information on a white Honda Integra Type-R which they believe was used in the crime.

The vehicle had distinctive wheels, with white alloys on the front and silver alloys at the rear.

The front driver's window was smashed and there were no registration plates.
