Vital clues on the latest gangland killing to hit Dublin could be held by members of the public who were socialising and shopping near the murder scene, gardaí indicated today.

The victim, identified as David Thomas, was gunned down outside the Drake Inn pub in Finglas at around 8.30pm last night.
