Six held following discovery of burnt body in car

Six people continue to be questioned by gardaí this morning after the discovery of a body in the boot of a burnt-out car in Wexford.

The body was found in a blue Opel Corsa near the Ballindinas roundabout at about 4.30pm yesterday afternoon.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the car in the Glenville road, at Ballindinas roundabout or in Wexford town to come forward.

The four men and two women who were arrested yesterday are being detained at Wexford garda station.
