PSNI detectives investigating the murder of Constable Stephen Carroll by dissident republicans are being granted extra time to hold a 22-year-old suspect in custody.

PSNI detectives investigating the murder of Constable Stephen Carroll by dissident republicans are being granted extra time to hold a 22-year-old suspect in custody.

The man was arrested in Newtownabbey in Antrim earlier this week in connection with the shooting of Constable Carroll last March in Craigavon in Armagh.
