Live Register rises by 600 this month

The steady rise in the number of people signing on the Live Register has slowed considerably over the past month, according to the latest figures from the CSO.

The statistics agency says that, when seasonal factors are taken into account, the number of people on the register increased by just 600 during the month of September.
