Gormley: FÁS scandal distracting from Lisbon campaign

The Green Party leader John Gormley has said today that the latest FÁS controversy is acting as a distraction from the Lisbon Treaty campaign.

The Green Party leader John Gormley has said today that the latest FÁS controversy is acting as a distraction from the Lisbon Treaty campaign.

Mr Gormley was speaking at a press conference in Dublin where the Greens said that the ratification of the treaty will have no effect on Ireland's neutrality.

Minister Gormley also dismissed reports that he threatened to pull the Greens out of Government if the Tánaiste issued a statement in support of the FÁS board.
