Man in serious condition after Tralee stabbing

A 23-year-old man is in a serious condition following a knife attack in Co Kerry this morning.

The victim suffered a number of stab wounds during a disturbance at the Marine Apartments in the Basin View area of Tralee at around 5am.

He was taken to Kerry General Hospital.

The incident follows the deaths of two men during separate stabbing incidents in Dublin and Cork over the weekend.
