Man due in court over Dublin 'tiger' kidnapping

A man is due in court in Dublin today in connection with a tiger kidnapping last week in which the boyfriend of a bank employee was held hostage.

The woman was forced to take around €300,000 from the Permanent TSB in Phibsboro last Tuesday after being sent a photograph of her partner with a gun to his head.

The money was later recovered at Broombridge railway station in Cabra.

A man who was arrested in the area is due before Dublin District Court later.
