RNLI reports increased demand for lifeboat services
The launch of RNLI lifeboats remains on an upward trend as demand for its services continues to grow year-on-year.
Preliminary figures show lifeboats in Ireland launched on 424 occasions in June, July and August compared with 379 times over the same period last year.
The busiest station was Bangor in Co. Down followed by Dun Laoghaire in Co. Dublin.
