Study to reveal widening of public-private pay gap

A study due to be published by the ESRI this week is reportedly set to reveal a significant widening in the gap between public and private-sector pay between 2003 and 2006.

Reports this morning say the study will show the average gap in earnings increased from almost 10% in 2003 to more than 20% in 2006.
