Lisbon Treaty 'will help tackle crime', claims Ahern

Justice Minister Dermot Ahern has today claimed that voting 'Yes' to Lisbon will help tackle cross-border crime.

Ahern said ratifying the Treaty on October 2 will give Ireland the tools it needs to ensure these criminals do not slip through the net.
