FG proposes bill to protect homeowners

Fine Gael is introducing a private members' bill in the Dáil today aimed at giving legal protection to home owners who attempt to fend off burglars.

The proposed Criminal Justice Home Defence Bill would allow homeowners to use reasonable force against intruders.
