Overseas visits to Ireland down 8% in July

The number of overseas visits to Ireland in July was 9% lower than in the same month last year, according to the latest figures from the CSO.

The statistics agency says visits from the UK were down almost 8%, visits from North America were down more than 5% and visits from continental Europe were down more than 11%.
