An Post worker dies following Donegal collision

A 32-year-old man has died following a two vehicle collision in Co. Donegal today.

He was fatally injured when the van he was driving was in collision with a combine harvester close to Raphoe at around 4pm this afternoon.

The victim – from the Lifford area - was a staff member at An Post, and was driving one of the company's vans at the time of the collision.

The road between Raphoe and Ballindrait has been closed to allow for forensic examination at the scene and will remain closed to traffic until at least midday tomorrow.
