Ganley may return to campaign against Lisbon
There is growing speculation today that Libertas leader Declan Ganley may enter the debate on the re-run of the Lisbon Treaty referendum.
Mr Ganley was instrumental in the original defeat of the referendum last year after overseeing a well-funded campaign for a 'No' vote.
He promised not to campaign this time around after Libertas' disappointing showing in the European elections earlier this year.
However, he has given an interview to the Wall Street Journal in the US criticising the second referendum and there is growing talk that he may actively campaign for a 'No' vote again this time.
Libertas itself is expected to launch its anti-Lisbon campaign in the coming days.
