Gardaí launch murder investigation into Dublin stabbing

Gardaí have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death in Tallaght in Dublin.

The man who was in his forties was knifed at a house in Páirc Glenn Trasna in Aylesbury at around 7.20pm last night.

He died at the scene.

His body was removed to Tallaght Hospital where a post mortem is due to take place.

Gardaí who were called out to the house arrested a woman in her 30s.

She continues to be questioned in Tallaght garda station this afternoon and gardaí say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
