Fine Gael to launch Lisbon Treaty campaign

SIPTU, which is the biggest union block in the country, will also decide today whether it will support or reject the Treaty.
By the time this week is over, almost every major grouping in the country will have declared its position on the forthcoming Lisbon Treaty.
The European Commission will launch its Guide to the Lisbon Treaty at 9am at its offices in Dawson Street Dublin
Two hours later, the Referendum Commission will outline the details of its public information campaign.
Anti-Lisbon campaigners Anthony Coughlan and Jen Peter Bonde will assess the details of the Referendum Commission's handbook for voters when they talk to the media at 11am.
Meanwhile, SIPTU's National Executive Council is meeting today to discuss its position on the Lisbon Treaty.
The union refrained from recommending how its members should vote in the last referendum.
