Element Six talks to resume at LRC
Talks aimed at resolving the dispute over redundancies at Element Six are due to resume today.
Unions and management will meet at the Labour Relations Commission in Limerick this morning.
The row erupted last month after the diamond manufacturers announced plans to shut down production at its facility in Shannon.
A survival plan saving 243 of the posts was negotiated a week later.
Workers however are unhappy with the redundancy terms on offer for those who are losing their jobs.
