Eight questioned over Dublin drugs seizures

Over €2.4m worth of cannabis has been seized from two separate criminal gangs in Dublin.

Eight people are being questioned over the seizures in Rathcoole and Swords yesterday evening.

Over €2m of the drug was recovered at a business premises in the Greenogue Industrial Estate in Rathcoole.

Three men - one in his 20s and two in their 30s - were arrested after Gardaí intercepted the drugs being handed over.

They are being held at Clondalkin Garda Station.

In a separate operation, five men in their 20s were arrested and over €400,000 worth of cannabis seized at Airside Business Park in Swords at around 6pm yesterday evening.

The men are being held at Santry, Ballymun and Swords Garda Stations.
