Louth firm to axe 22 jobs

Twenty-two jobs are to be lost at a medical devices company in Co Louth, it was announced today.

Becton Dickinson has been in operation in Drogheda since 1964.

BD employs more than 450 people at its plants in Drogheda and Dun Laoghaire, and also has a trading office in Shannon in Co Clare.
