Protest by 4Home workers called off

A protest by 4Home store workers in Cork, which was scheduled to take place tomorrow, has been called off.

Both sides in the dispute have agreed to go to the Labour Relations Court after talks at the Labour Relations Commission broke down.

The row erupted when staff in Mitchelstown and Fermoy was told that the stores would close and they would be given statutory redundancy.

Workers at the store in Mitchelstown ended a two day sit-in after company bosses agreed to enter into discussions at the LRC.
