Gilmore: Public interest needs to be protected in Carroll case
The leader of the Labour party has called for the Attorney General to apply to the High Court for the right to nominate lawyers to protect the public interest in the upcoming case to decide if an Examiner should be appointed to Liam Carroll's Zoe Group.
Eamon Gilmore said today the outcome of the case would have “significant potential implications” for taxpayers, and could have an impact on the Nama legislation.
