VFI meets to discuss pub-trade survival plan

A group representing more than 4,500 publicans around the country is holding a meeting in Dublin today to discuss a survival plan for the pub trade.

The leadership of the Vintners Federation of Ireland says independent research it has carried out in recent weeks found a serious downturn in the industry across the country.
