Irishman found dead in Spain

An Irishman has been found dead in Spain, it has emerged today.

Ollie Walsh, who is the brother of Olympic boxing coach Billy Walsh, is understood to have collapsed and died in his apartment close to Marbella yesterday morning.

The Wexford man had been living in the area with his girlfriend for some time.

An investigation into his death has been launched by the Spanish authorities and a postmortem will be carried out in the coming days.

It is understood that his body will be flown home for burial in Wexford.
