Gang forces family to flee Tyrone home

A family of seven have been forced to flee their home in Co Tyrone by a gang of masked men.

The men, who are believed to have been carrying bats and hurleys, entered the house in the Springhill Park area of Strabane just before midnight.

They forced the seven occupants - aged between six and 59 - to leave the house.

The PSNI says it is trying to establish a motive for the incident and is appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
