Nursing home workers to hold rally

SIPTU is to hold a rally later today in support of striking workers at a nursing home in Co. Longford.

Employees of Our Lady's Manor Nursing Home in Edgeworthstown are entering their 13th week of industrial action in a row over new work practices.

SIPTU Regional Officer Christy McQuillan said the new owners imposed the procedures without agreement.
